The toughest part about CSS positioning is that what looks great in Safari or Firefox (Mozilla) could look horrible in Internet Explorer. I'm scouring the web for tricks.
Email me if you have any multi-browser support suggestions for CSS / XHTML sites. (08-22-2005)
It's a bit dusty in here. That's because I'm redesigning the site, tweaking the CSS, adding PHP functionality and all kinds of good stuff. So, sorry about the mess. (08-18-2005)
Jeff Engel (that's me) creates unique user experiences in online and offline environments. Whether you just need a logo or a quick web redesign, or you need a total identity overhaul that spans offline through online channels, I can help.
Jeff Engel in a nutshell: Veteran of traditional print and packaging media. Been working in web and interactive media since 1994. Creative lead on newspaper, magazine and commercial projects. Ad campaigns and identity. Interactive catalogs for prolific Vision’s Edge, a QuarkXTension developer. Joined Vision's Edge's creative arm, Imagination Media as Multimedia Director. Later, he became a Creative Lead at Horizon Marketing Group with clients such as IMR Global, Discount Auto Parts, Bisk-Totaltape, Bank Atlantic, MicroMo, Moore Data and the Florida Department of Justice. Went to to Mainspring (not Mindspring) in Boston to join Customer Experience team as a senior analyst (creative lead) in 2000. Ground-up eStrategy efforts for organizations like the National Technology Transfer Center, Thinking Investments, Royal Ahold of The Netherlands' (Stop & Shop, Giant, etc.), and Pepsi. Still have a strong emphasis on typography and graphic design. I employ this user experience philosophy to business offerings spread across a company's value chain. Good design is equal parts user needs and business needs.
