One day I was fooling around in Photoshop trying out techniques on a portrait I took of my friend, Travis. I made a few mistakes but liked what I saw. I experimented more and more and realized that the things started taking on a weird and somewhat scary Baconian aesthetic. I am dark and twisted like some of these pictures? No, not really. However, I've always been drawn to weird, ambigious, mysterious and impressionistic art. JMW Turner is another one of my influences. For someone painting in the 1840s, he was way ahead of his time.
